Renee Puusepp
About
Renee is an architect and a construction technology entrepreneur; a practitioner and researcher. His team at Creatomus Solutions makes digital configurators – tools for designing and constructing low-impact modular buildings. As a senior researcher in the Department of Architecture at the Estonian Academy of Arts, he leads the research of open source modular building systems – Pattern Buildings. Renee’s current focus is on connecting the two technologies in order to bridge the gap between design and production of buildings.
Think inside the box
The presentation explores how pattern building systems and digital configurator technologies can transform the way we connect design to production. By integrating DfMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly) principles with modular construction, we can create flexible, reconfigurable, and resource-efficient buildings that evolve with changing needs.
