Jānis Milzarājs currently is the CEO and Co-founder of SIA CASTOR CONSTRUCTION – professional provider of Project Management, Construction, Design&Build and Real Estate Development services. Jānis Milzarājs is Co-founder of several related companies in Finland and Estonia.
Jānis Milzarājs has graduated from Riga Technical University and University of Latvia and has Diploma of Civil Engineer and is Master of Social Sciences in Economics.
Jānis Milzarājs has a wide experience in Construction Design&Build projects and SIA CASTOR CONSTRUCTION has executed more than 50 Industrial and Commercial projects in a role of Main Contractor in Latvia. The key Customers during the years of operation in Latvia have been AS Latvijas Finieris, SIA DHL Latvia, SIA Lindstrom Latvia, AS Air Baltic Corporation, SIA Stockmann Latvia etc.
The insight in the experience of using wooden structures in industrial buildings
The presentation will describe the first steps using wooden structures in the industrial buildings in Latvia. Further it will talk about the factory VEREMS expansion in years 2006, 2013 and 2025, learning points, as well as construction process of using wooden structures in industrial buildings, especially trusses and beams in structures.
